Terms and Conditions for Glossy Glimpse Auto Detailing

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you” or “the Client”) and Glossy Glimpse Auto Detailing (“we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the Glossy Glimpse website as well as any services provided by us.

By booking a service with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using our services.

2. Services and Bookings

2.1. Booking Confirmation: A booking is not confirmed until you have received an official confirmation from us via email, text, or phone call.

2.2. Service Quotations: Any price quoted online or over the phone is an estimate based on the information you provide. We reserve the right to adjust the final price upon in-person inspection of the vehicle’s condition, size, and the specific services required. Any changes to the price will be communicated to and agreed upon by you before any work commences.

2.3. Vehicle Condition: The final result of our detailing services is dependent on the initial condition of your vehicle. While we strive for the best possible outcome, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all defects, such as deep scratches, rock chips, heavy stains, mould, or failing clear coat.

3. Customer Obligations

3.1. Removal of Personal Items: It is the Client’s responsibility to remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any detailing service. Glossy Glimpse Auto Detailing will not be held liable for any lost or damaged personal items. Compartments, consoles, or trunks containing personal items will not be cleaned.

3.2. Disclosure of Pre-existing Damage: The Client must inform us of any pre-existing damage, known mechanical issues, or fragile components on the vehicle before the service begins. We are not liable for any damage to parts that are already broken, loose, or compromised.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. Payment Due: Full payment is due upon completion of the service. We do not offer billing arrangements.

4.2. Payment Methods: We accept payment via [List your accepted payment methods, e.g., EFTPOS, Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard), Bank Transfer, Cash].

4.3. Additional Charges: Heavily soiled vehicles, excessive pet hair, mould, vomit, or other biohazards may be subject to an additional surcharge. This will be discussed with you prior to starting the work.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

5.1. Client Cancellation: We require a minimum of [e.g., 24 hours] notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of [e.g., $50 or a percentage of the booking].

5.2. Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather (if it affects our ability to perform the service safely and effectively) or staff illness. We will provide as much notice as possible in such an event.

6. Satisfaction and Post-Service Inspection

6.1. Our Commitment: We are committed to providing a high-quality, professional service. We treat every vehicle with the utmost care as if it were our own.

6.2. Post-Service Inspection: Upon completion of the service, we will conduct a final walk-around inspection with you to ensure you are satisfied with the work. Any concerns or issues must be addressed at this time.

6.3. Corrections: If there are any areas you feel we have missed or are not up to standard, please point them out during the final inspection. We will be happy to address them immediately. Once you have taken possession of your vehicle, we consider the service to be accepted and complete.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Glossy Glimpse Auto Detailing is not liable for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, rock chips, scratches, swirls, dents, failing clear coat, peeling paint, or interior damage.

7.2. We are not responsible for any damage to non-factory parts or accessories.

7.3. Our maximum liability for any damage caused by us during the detailing process is limited to the total cost of the service provided for that vehicle.

8. Use of Images

We reserve the right to take photographs and/or videos of your vehicle before, during, and after the service for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g., for our website gallery and social media), unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing. No personal information or license plates will be visible in these images.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and your use of our services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought in the courts located in Nelson, New Zealand.
